TODAY I CAME UP WITH SOMETHING INTRESTING!

WE ALL HAVE HEARD THE NAME VENUS..RIGHT?
BUT DO WE KNOW WHAT ARE THE FACTS OF VENUS PLANET?!!

TODAY I'LL TAKE YOU TO THE DEPTH OF THIS PLANET!


Venus is the second planet from the sun.No planet approaches closer to earth than venus...at its nearest it is closest large body to earth other than the moon.

DO YOU KNOW VENUS IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE SISTER PLANET🌏OF THE EARTH?
Becoz its size and mass are similar to tht of earth..

Although the planet is the second closest planet to the sun, it's by far the hottest of the eight worlds in our solar system.Its thick atmosphere is made of carbon dioxide with clouds of sulfuric acid, which traps the sun's heat and creates a runaway greenhouse effect.

 Lets thanks to this atmospheric blanket, temperatures on Venus' surface can soar over 880 degrees Fahrenheit..hot enough to melt lead. The surface pressure is around 90 times that on Earth, which would feel like standing under about a half a mile of water.That's the only resn tht venus has only one season i.e HOT.🔥

 Together with Mercury, it's one of the few planets in our solar system without a moon. And like Uranus, it turns on its axis in the opposite direction to the rest of our celestial family.

Due to its brightness,it can easily be seen through naked eyes.👀

NOW LETS TALK ABOUT ITS SIZE AND MASS...

Venus is located at a distance of 108.2 million km from the sun.Venus has a radius of 6.051km and a diameter of 12.104km.
It has a mass of 4.87x10 raise to the power 24kg.It has a density of 5.24grams per cubic cm.


Venus is more than about 62 degrees hotter than mercury,the closest planet to the sun.It was then concluded tht venus has the hottest surface out of all the planets and from this information the hopes that it resembled Earth,were shattered.😢

VENUS has a retrograde rotation,moving in the opposite direction than most planets,only uranus also does this.They both move clockwise..that is east to west.Venus does this rotation once every 243 earth days, having slowest rotation of all the planets in the solar system.
It has been observe that its even getting slower.


💨NOW LET'S GO INSIDE THE PLANET...

Venus is very similar to earth in its structure.It has an iron core that is approx 2000 miles in radius.Above the core there is a mantle of hot rock.
Its core is at least partially liquid since both earth and venus started cooling at about same rate.About 80% of the venusian surface is covered with smooth,volcanic plains.
Venus does cantain two highland "CONTINENTS" that make up the rest of its surface area.One is located in the planet's nothern hemisphere and it is called ISHTAR TERRA,and it is about the size of AUSTRALIA.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT..
The highest mountain on venus is named Maxwell Montes , its peak is about 11 kilometers above the venusian surface.
The second continent is located in the southern hemisphere and it is called APHRODITE TERRA, and it is about the size of SOUTH AMERICA.

SO LET'S TALK ABOUT PLUTO'S JOURNEY...FROM THE NINTH PLANET TO A DWARF PLANET. P LUTO ... why its no longer a planet? The INTERNATIONAL AMERICAN UNION (IAU) declared that it is a dwarf planet becoz it did not meet the three criteria the IAU uses to define a full-sized planet. Unfortunately, pluto meets all the criteria except one... it has not cleared its neighboring region of other objects. Pluto is the largest known dwarf planet in the solar system and was discovered in the 1930s. It was the 9th planet of our solar system for 75years until the discovery of Eris and other similar objects that follows the journey from being a planet to a dwarf planet.
