MOON:EARTH'S CLOSEST FRIEND

Image
HEY EVERYONE!! I'm welcoming you all after a very long time A friend is a very important part of everyone's life...right? So today let's talk about our planet's friend. Let's explore and see that whether our planet's choice is good or not?😂 As we all know the moon is Earth's only satellite. Since prehistoric times, it is the brightest object in the sky after the Sun. Poets and composers were invoking the moon's romantic charms and its darker side, and writers of fiction were conducting their readers on speculative lunar journeys long before Apollo astronauts. Here, the word darker side reminds me of a movie or cartoon scene where a wolf changes into a monster by looking at the moon.😂😂 The moon is a spherical rocky body, probably with a small metallic core, revolving around the Earth in a slightly eccentric orbit at a mean distance of about 384,000 km Now some of you might don't know about the eccentric orbit, so let me tell you, Eccentric Orbit ...

WHY IS PLUTO NO LONGER A PLANET?

Image
HEY EVERYONE!! I WELCOME YOU ALL AFTER A LONG TIME...WITH ANOTHER INTERESTING TOPIC! PLUTO WILL ALWAYS BE THE NINTH PLANET TO US...RIGHT? SO LET'S TALK ABOUT PLUTO'S JOURNEY...FROM THE NINTH PLANET TO A DWARF PLANET. P LUTO ... why its no longer a planet? The INTERNATIONAL AMERICAN UNION (IAU) declared that it is a dwarf planet becoz it did not meet the three criteria the IAU uses to define a full-sized planet. Unfortunately, pluto meets all the criteria except one... it has not cleared its neighboring region of other objects. Pluto is the largest known dwarf planet in the solar system and was discovered in the 1930s. It was the 9th planet of our solar system for 75years until the discovery of Eris and other similar objects that follows the journey from being a planet to a dwarf planet. Before moving on further I would like to tell you the three criteria of IAU for a full-sized planet: 👉THE OBJECT MUST BE IN ORBIT AROUND THE SUN. 👉THE OBJECT MUST BE MASSIVE ENOUGH TO BE ROUN...

JOURNEY THROUGH STARS!!

Image
TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR.. HOW I WONDER WHT YOU ARE.. UP ABOVE THE WORLD,SO HIGH LIKE A DIAMOND IN THE SKY ⭐ WE ALL HAVE HEARD THIS POETRY IN OUR CHILDHOOD..RIGHT? SO NOW LET ME TAKE YOU IN THEIR WORLD..!! S tar is an astronomical object consisting of a luminous spheroid of plasma held together by its own gravity. The life cycle of a star spans billions of years. It can be said tht, the more massive the star, the shorter its life span. The birth of star takes place inside hydrogen based dust clouds called NEBULAE. Millions of years later, when the core temperature climbs to about 15 million degree Celsius nuclear fusion begins, igniting the core and setting off the next—and longest—stage of a star’s life, known as its main sequence. Most of the stars in our galaxy, including the sun🌅, are categorized as main sequence stars. They exist in a stable state of nuclear fusion, converting hydrogen to helium and radiating x-rays. Some stars shine more brightly than others. Their brigh...

JOURNEY TO MARS..!!

Image
HEY EVERYONE..!! TODAY I CAME UP WITH A FAMILIAR TOPIC FOR YOU ALL... YOU ALL HAVE HEARD ABOUT MARS..RIGHT? SO TODAY I M GOING TO START A SHORT JOURNEY TO THIS PLANET...! Mars is the fourth planet from the sun and the second smallest planet in the solar system.Mars rotates on it axis every 24.6 Earth hrs.Mars's axis of rotation is tilted 25.2degrees relative to the plane of the planet's orbit around the sun, which helps give mars seasons similar to those on Earth. But for several reasons, seasons on mars are diffrent from those on Earth. One is, Mars is on average about 50%  farther from the sun than Earth is,with an average orbital distance of 142 million miles . On Mars, a year lasts 687 Earth days, and an individual season can last up to 199 Earth days.😨 The first person to observe Mars with a telescope was GALILIO GALILEI IN 1610. So now the question comes..tht why this planet is called red planet? The reason is tht it's red in colour😅.Now the question aries..tht why ...

VENUS:OUR HOTTEST STAR

Image
HEY EVERYONE! TODAY I CAME UP  WITH SOMETHING INTRESTING! WE ALL HAVE HEARD THE NAME VENUS..RIGHT? BUT DO WE KNOW WHAT ARE THE FACTS OF VENUS PLANET?!! TODAY I'LL TAKE YOU TO THE DEPTH OF THIS PLANET! Venus is the second   planet from the sun.No planet approaches closer to earth than venus...at its nearest it is closest large body to earth other than the moon. DO YOU KNOW VENUS IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE SISTER PLANET🌏 OF THE EARTH? Becoz its size and mass are similar to tht of earth.. Although the planet is the second closest planet to the sun, it's by far the hottest of the eight worlds in our solar system. Its thick atmosphere is made of carbon dioxide with clouds of sulfuric acid, which traps the sun's heat and creates a runaway  greenhouse effect .  Lets thanks to this atmospheric blanket, temperatures on Venus' surface can soar over 880 degrees Fahrenheit..hot enough to melt lead. The surface pressure is around 90 times that on Earth, which would feel like standing ...

COMETS:THE COSMIC SNOWBALLS

Image
HEY EVERYONE..! YOU ALL HAVE HEARD ABOUT THE WORD COMETS.. BUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY REALLY ARE? TODAY I M GOING TO SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT COMETS..!! COMETS are the cosmic snowballs of frozen gases mix with dust, which orbit the sun. They have been referred to as "DUSTY SNOW BALLS". They may yield important clues about the formation of our solar system. Comets may have brought water and organic compounds, the building blocks of life, to the early Earth and other parts of the solar system.  W hen passing close to the Sun, warms and begins to release gases. This produces a visible atmosphere, and sometimes also a tail. Unlike the other small bodies in the solar system, comets have been known since antiquity. NOW LET ME TAKE YOU TO THE HISTORY OF THE COMETS.... In 1995,878 comets have been cataloged.Of these 184 are periodic comets whose orbital periods less than 200 years. These are the mixture of ices(both water and frozen gases). Comets are invisible except when they are near th...

SOLAR WIND

Image
HEY EVERYONE TODAY I CAME UP WITH SOMETHING AMAZING...!! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD ABOUT SOLAR WIND? OFFCOURSE MANY OF YOU WERE AWARE OF IT... SO TODAY I AM GOING TO SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SOLAR WIND.. WHAT IS SOLAR WIND? The solar wind is a constant stream of charged particles released from the upper atmosphere of the sun, which is called corona .Diffrent regions on the sun produce solar winds of diffrent speed and densities. coronal holes  produce solar wind of high speed, ranging from 500 to 800 kilometers per second. WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF SOLAR WIND? The  solar wind  is  created by  the outward expansion of a collection of charged particles which is called plasma from the Sun's corona (outermost atmosphere). This plasma is continually heated to the point that the Sun's gravity can't hold it down. It then travels along the Sun's magnetic field lines that extend radially outward. HOW DOES IT AFEECT OUR EARTH? As the wind travels off the sun, it carries  CHARGE...
